TamagoChu (literally "egg kiss") is a Japan-exclusive line that served as an updated version of Mesutchi & Osutchi. This model emphasizes building the relationship of the Tamagotchi characters over the care aspect of most Tamagotchi devices.

The pink shell from the Fuji TV set is prone to turning orange from sun damage. TamagoChu units were only sold in 2-packs.
