The first licensed Tamagotchi release, the Japan-exclusive Mothra Tamagotchi allowed players to raise the creature Mothra of monster movie fame. The game also features Godzilla as a secret character. There were three shell designs for this release, which came out as a tie-in for the film Rebirth of Mothra II.
