The Tamagotchi Connection V5.5, known as Version 5 Celebrity in North America, was the second "half" Tamagotchi release. This version adds new features to the original Familitchi, such as increased inclusion of a Tamagotchi Royal Family. The v5.5 features the same chimney-like antenna of the v5, so the only way to distinguish them physically is by shell design. The v5.5 units feature Hollywood and movie-inspired designs. Japanese units have a key wearing a crown attached to them. This version did not have a European release.
